As the operator of the page www.qualisiegler.de, we at SHK BERGMANN & FRANZ GmbH take the protection of your personal data very seriously and therefore make every effort to ensure your right to self-determination with regard to information. 1. Collection of personal data when you visit our website

When you visit our website, our server (located at the company headquarters in Germany) temporarily stores each access in a log file. The following data is temporarily stored by us:

  • IP address;
  • the web page from which the file was retrieved;
  • name of the file;
  • date and time of access;
  • client’s request;
  • http answer code;
  • amount of data transferred;
  • notification about the success of the call (web log).

We use this access data exclusively in non-personalised form for the continuous improvement of our website and for statistical purposes. We only store your IP address while you are using the site (session ID). No reference to the user is made.

In addition, we use cookies and web analysis services when you visit our website, see Section 6 of this Privacy Policy.

2. Collection and storage of personal data in the context of a non-binding request

If you would like to send us a non-binding request, we collect the following data on our website:

  • full name;
  • address and contact details
  • your input regarding your desired bathroom
  • the content of your message.

This data is collected for the purpose of:

  • properly processing your request
  • providing you with a suitable offer to you based on your information
  • responding to your message text and any related questions.
  • When a contract is concluded, the contact details are forwarded to a responsible tradesman, who then contacts you to discuss the implementation.

You may at any time object to the disclosure of your contact details with future effect here or by sending a message to contact details below.

3. Processing of personal data

Your personal data is processed for the purpose of performing the contractual relationship with you in accordance with the principles set out in Art. 5 GDPR.

The information stored in this way -

  • name and address
  • contact details (email address and telephone number) for any queries
  • request regarding your new bathroom
  • content of your message

will be duly deleted after the purpose has been achieved, taking the legal retention periods into account.

4. Transfer of data to third parties

We comply with the applicable legal provisions when passing on personal information, and will always handle your information responsibly and carefully.

However, to process your inquiries and contractual matters, it may be necessary, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO, to transfer your personal data to affiliated companies and contractual partners, such as tradesmen. As a precautionary measure, we have concluded data processing contracts with these companies and contractual partners.

These contracts oblige our contractors to data-protection compliant handling of your data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation and, in addition, to take all necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of your data.

In the interest of the protecting of your data, we will not provide any information to unauthorised third parties, unless we are legally required to in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR or you have given us your explicit consent to the forwarding in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.

5. Use of Google Analytics and cookies

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and which allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this Website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that your IP address will be abridged by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other states parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transferred to the USA. 6. Use of Google Adwords/remarketing

Our website uses the Google Adwords service. Google Adwords is an online advertising program provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

We use the remarketing function within the Google AdWords service. The remarketing function allows us to show advertising to users of our website on other sites within the Google Display Network (on Google itself, Google Ads or other websites) based on their interests. To this end, the interaction of users on our website, such as which offers the user was interested in, is analysed to make it possible to also display targeted advertising to users on other pages after visiting our website. 7. Google Maps
This website uses the map service Google Maps, which allows the display of interactive maps and the use of the map feature directly on our website. The Google Maps service uses persistent cookies. When visiting the page on our website that uses Google Maps, Google will receive a notification that you have accessed the page. In addition, the information listed under Section III. 1 will be transmitted to Google. This takes place regardless of whether you are logged in to a Google user account. We employ appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or against access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Please note that messages that you send to us via our internet contact forms or by email are sent to us in unencrypted form. Therefore, security when transmitting data that is worthy of protection as well as its protection from unauthorised access and falsification of content cannot be guaranteed. If messages are confidential, we therefore recommend that you use the postal service.

9. SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of sensitive content, such as the requests you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection when the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and the lock symbol appears in the address line.

If SSL encryption is enabled, the data you submit to us cannot be read by third parties.

10. Children

According to Art. 8 GDPR, children should not submit personal data to our website without the consent of their parents or guardians.
